Spring is here! Spring is here!As I sit here dreaming about this summer’s garden and what I will be cooking with the fresh produce. I am also getting ready for the most exciting time, harvest time! That is if you can keep your kids from prematurely picking the new veggies or blooms when first spotted. I love getting my kids outdoors and teaching them about growing food. They are turning out to be quite interested in cooking their own food, especially when they get to pick it straight from the garden. Seeing the excitement on their faces as they put on their harvest aprons and pull on their rain boots, to go out and gather the bounty, is priceless.
